This was an early example of a promotional graphic to promote the battle between 2 teams, Cougars Esports, my school's team, vs Triggerfish Zones Supremacy, a different team that was used as a filler for this example/prompt to bring to the heads of social media. my idea was to create separate sides of the screen related to each team while having all the information to watch the match around the middle of the screen. In this instance, through Photoshop circles were added to separate the teams made the most sense while not making anything too "boxed in". The colour of the circles indicate the team colours (Cougars Esports being White, Black, and Maroon where Triggerfish Zones Supremacy's colours are Blue, Teal, Orange, and Yellow). Using the circles also allow a space in the bottom middle to put the needed information to know when and where the match is going to happen, also indicating what week of the season they currently are going into. Since this example is being based around the game "Splatoon 2", I decided to add the game's logo on the graphic so no one gets confused with how many potential teams there could be in the schools esports program. Since there was some extra space, a Splatoon backdrop was put in on low opacity so it isn't distracting from the main point of the promotion with a black backdrop behind it to make sure it stays dark. Finally, I went into Illustrator and created a radical, 2-colour, gradient going from white (0% opacity) to black (60% opacity). this was so the black wouldn't strike through the final design as harsh as it could have while keeping the main colours of the overall graphic, making it feel lively.
Promotional image I created with help from Arjie, student focused in photography, to promote the live streamed Chamber Concert that I ended up live streaming on the schools YouTube page
