HunMUN '26

Dear Esteemed Delegates and Advisors,

We are honored to invite you to HunMUN 2026! The Hunter United Nations Society has been working carefully and expansively to craft five engaging crisis simulations for this conference. At HUNS, we emphasize collaboration, negotiation, and voicing your opinions at times of tension. At our conference, we hope that you find yourself absorbed in your committees’ topic, challenged in finding adequate and positive solutions, and learning something new about Model UN.

For HunMUN 26’, we will be hosting five crisis committees, with experienced chairs and crisis directors. Our conference is all a crisis, and that’s intentional. We believe that crisis committees require students to think on their feet, a skill that every person should gain through Model UN. We hope this focused approach will help you all develop these skills more thoroughly, and leave Hunter feeling even more confident in your ability to speak publicly, no matter the level you enter this conference at.

Our Secretariat cannot wait to welcome you on February 7th, 2026 to Hunter College High School on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
