- **Usage:** Only activated when you choose the "scan from image" feature.
- **Data Storage:** No images are copied, stored, or transmitted. The app only reads the selected image temporarily to detect QR & Bar codes.
### Storage Permission (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
- **Purpose:** Allows saving generated QR codes to your device's public Pictures folder.
- **Usage:** Only used when you choose to download a QR code you've created.
- **Data Storage:** QR code images are saved directly to your device's local storage under "Pictures/QR & Bar Code Scanner". Nothing is uploaded or shared externally.
### Internet Permission (android.permission.INTERNET)
- **Purpose:** Required to open URLs detected in scanned QR codes (e.g., website links).
- **Usage:** Only used when you choose to open a URL from scan results.
- **Data Transmission:** The app does not connect to any servers or transmit data. Internet access is solely for opening external links in your browser when you explicitly choose to do so.

- **Local Storage Only:** All scan history, favorites, and tags are stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences.
