Huned Materwala

Dr. Huned Materwala is a Machine Learning Engineer at Alpha Augmented Services, focusing on developing optimization systems for autonomous decision-making in logistics. His work bridges practical engineering with advanced research in AI-driven operations and intelligent control. He previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Computer Science at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE, and as a Research Assistant at the  Intelligent Distributed Computing and Systems (INDUCE) Research Laboratory, College of Information Technology, United Arab Emirates University, UAE. He earned his Ph.D. in Informatics and Computing with a full scholarship award from the College of Information Technology at the United Arab Emirates University, UAE. Dr. Materwala holds an M.Tech. in Control Systems Engineering from Amity University Uttar Pradesh, India, and a B.E. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, India. His research has been published in top-ranked journals, including IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE Internet of Things, ACM Computing Surveys, Future Generation Computer Systems, Vehicular Communications, and Journal of Medical Internet Research.
