READ SHARP, TALK SMART
INTRODUCTION:
Proper grammar and impressive reading skills is something a student is required to have, then having the privilege to go to school and be able to learn and practice their intelligence and creativity skills. And 50% of Laurel Batangas pupils struggle with reading and speaking English.
PURPOSE:
Through this advocacy many students in Laurel Batangas will enhance their reading skills and improve their English vocabulary. Furthermore, it will enhance their brain knowledge, and it can also be a great contribution to their future desire.
DESCRIPTION:
All students can benefit from the free vocabulary and reading comprehension instruction provided by the Read Sharp, Talk Smart project. We do reading interventions, write, give speeches and posting a word of the day on social media as part of the projects initial activities. In the activities, there is also a discussion about proper grammar and proper pronunciation of words. It will start every Saturday at the private gymnasium, and all attendees will be given free snacks during the activities.
SUPPORT:
The estimated budget for this project is ranging from 90,000-130,000 this includes the free snacks, books, any writing materials, chalk boards, and other materials that are needed in this project.
