Herat University Medical Students' Association

Herat University Medical Students Association was officially formed after a free election in 2018 and the appointment of a president, vice president and secretary. Following the formation of the association, there were final exams and winter vacations. During the winter, the world contracted the deadly covid-19 pandemic. All these events caused the Students' Association to start its official activity from the middle of 2020 and after the formation of its committees. Herat University Medical Students Association has ten committees due to the need for its leadership board.

HUMSA represents the opinions and ideas of future health professionals in Herat, Afghanistan, and works in collaboration with external partners. HUMSA builds capacity through training, project, and exchange opportunities, to shape a sustainable and healthy future in Afghanistan.
