What do we look for in a 4 Point Inspection?

1. Roof age and condition

2. Plumbing distribution and condition

3. Electrical wires, devices, and any visible hazards

4. HVAC system age and condition

We will be taking pictures of all roof slopes, all plumbing fixtures, all drains and valves/stops under sinks, electrical panel with the cover on and off, and the HVAC equipment. Having easy access to these items will speed up the inspection process, so being prepared is recommended.

What do we look for in a Wind Mitigation?

1. Roof Covering and underlayment types

2. Roof structure or truss systems

3. Nail sizes and distances

4. Rafter to wall connections

5. Materials used or installed for wind born debris protection

We will be taking pictures of all items listed above. This means we will need access to any attic space your home may have. We will also need photos of any materials used as "opening protection". Materials must be on the property and readily accessible to qualify. We will do our best to help you qualify for every credit your home deserves!
