Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Therapist (AMFT, ASW, or APCC) with a current California registration in good standing. This role includes weekly individual clinical supervision with a licensed supervisor and offers flexible scheduling. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and ready to take initiative in building and maintaining a caseload.
This is a W2 employee position, with the opportunity for long-term growth and advancement within the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual therapy (and potentially couples or family therapy depending on experience and interest)
Participate in weekly individual clinical supervision toward licensure
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
Take initiative in recruiting and retaining clients (with support from the practice)
Attend occasional team meetings or trainings (virtual or in-person)
Uphold ethical and professional standards in all clinical work
Requirements
Active California registration as AMFT, ASW, or APCC in good standing
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
Availability to work 20–40 hours per week
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomy, while also open to collaboration
Comfortable engaging in networking, outreach, or other strategies to grow caseload
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience providing therapy in a clinical setting
Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
Interest in working with specific populations (e.g., BIPOC, LGBTQ+, trauma survivors, etc.)
Bilingual abilities are a plus
