Concept of the conference

The kolleg aims at bringing together the Humboldtian community, leading scientists, researchers, industrialists, research scholars and graduate students to exchange and share their experiences and research results. The kolleg will facilitate the exchange of ideas on topics of mutual interest and will serve as a platform for establishing links between research groups with complementary act​ivities.

One of the targets hoped to be achieved would be the establishing of a network among researchers to widen knowledge base and implement them for specific applications, is also envisaged. Previous kollegs proved to be highly successful in attracting highly reputed Humboldtians and have the connections with their counterparts and young scientists, from Jordan and several other countries.

Inviting the experts in various fields of interest, would bring together the researchers in order to connect Science and Diplomacy. The discussion of projects and applications on sustainable development in various disciplines would create substantial cooperation.

As can be seen from highest possible international quality of speakers participating at the kolleg, from Germany and other countriesare among the leading experts that include about Humboldtians from 17 countries and experts from Jordan and abroad whom would be sharing their experience, knowledge and expectations in this conference.

Broadly, the deliberations of the Kolleg will focus on the following topics;

Other goals of the kolleg are to strengthen interdisciplinary networking between scholars and experts sponsored by the Humboldt foundation; thus reinforcing the awareness and generate long term collaborations.
