I was on the second day of the 52nd Annual Scientific and Educational Meeting of the Canadian Association on Gerontology in Hilton, Toronto. McMaster has significant visibility in this international conference, where scientists from all over the world shared their aging research and ideas.

I attended the McMaster Medical Writing & Publishing Workshop 2023. Over these two days, I learned a lot from the speakers about how scientific communication should be, especially from Professor Gordon Guyatt.

I presented a poster on the 2023 MIRA & Labarge Knowledge Exchange at McMaster University.

I was with fellow Health Research Methodology (HRM) Students who attended HRM games night on December 14, 2023. We played and ate pizza!

I was a Teaching Assistant (TA) for the course Critical Appraisal of the Medical Literature, a challenging course within the Faculty of Health Science. I have led the tutorial of two groups, T01 and T05, this Winter 2024.

It was great to witness second and third-year undergraduate students doing critical appraisals of scientific articles using established tools and methods, including a variety of study designs, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses, but not limited to primary studies like RCTs, prognostic studies, diagnostic studies, and more.

Appointed as a data analysis support assistant at the Data Analysis Support Hub (DASH) at McMaster University Library in 2023, and my name is in the "Schedule an Appointment" section with my colleagues. Researchers booked appointments with me to have assistance in data analysis in their projects.
