As we are all Human beings, we commonly make mistakes. One of which being acting out of assumption versus taking the time to ask, so, I have set this 'Virtual Tabletop Manners' system to understand easily and clearly the 'dos' and don'ts. This way, session time will be spent on the game rather than conversing about these points. This is subject to change.
Politics: Leave politics under your seat. Out of sight and out of mind. Everyone has an opinion and that is fine but so few follow the proper rules of Political Engagement, let alone know it. So, for everyone's best interest, please refrain from bringing it up. The best place to put it during game is under your seat. Keep in mind that in a game politics are designed in a game and are not real.
Respecting Everyone: We are all Human Beings. The background one comes from, what their interests are or which group(s) someone is in doesn't matter. Any form of disrespect could potentially cause a player to be kicked out of the game, with notices. This includes during the game.
Devises Usage: Consoles, phones, and other devices that are not being used for the current game session at the table are to be either turned off or put on silent. If you need to take a phone call, direct message (DM) me with "BRB" (Be Right Back) or something to that effect so I may improvise around it. Claiming to be a multi-tasker is no exception to this rule, we all follow this to the best of our ability.
Scheduling Issues: Everyone has a busy schedule, and it is understandable. However, for the other Players and the Referee, it is a good policy to let everyone know before the game session starts. I do understand life likes to throw curve balls at you. If there is no message at all (Even during the game or after), your absence counts against you. If you continue to not message at all and accumulate enough, you will be notified of your dismissal from the table. So, it is very important for me to know (at least) as soon as possible so I may plan for your absence(s). Please let me know as soon as you know.
• In addition towards SP.G (StartPlaying.Games); If you fail to contact me (Jonathan | the Human DM) 45 minutes after game start time, the charge will continue and no refunds will be available. You are solely responsible for managing your time and money. If you contact me before the set time (45 minutes after game start time) runs out, I will be able to intercept the charge.
Intercourse: Simply put, I do not by any means perform in this regard. In game sessions, it will always be a 'Fade to Black' scenario. As rape is very frowned upon in most societies, the topic is to be avoided at the table. Which, no matter how much I am paid, can lead to you (the player) being blacklisted from the games for acting to it. It is also my right as the Referee to refuse the player(s) desires for it. Any who encourages this type of action can also be blacklisted. No notice will be given.
Foul Languages: Let's be honest. We all know at least one cuss word and using them when it is appropriate is fine. However, if you misuse them, you will be notified and asked to desist from so much usage. Failure to do so will result in asking you to leave. Failure to leave upon request will result in being kicked out of the group. Additionally, certain words are to be avoided regardless of origins, backgrounds, or Ticket Masters.
In Game Ruling: If an answer to a question about a rule is unknown and cannot be figured out quickly, then it falls to the Referee do decide what seems to make the most sense given the situation. The rule can change after a session and be applied when and if necessary. Not all rules need to be followed to the letter.
