Once your character enters in the ranks you gain the benefit suggested in each field and gain a pay per warp travel. Your character works their way from the lowest rank going up.
Rank 1 = Gets 5 Gold per warp.
Rank 2 = Gets 1 Platinum per warp.
Rank 3 = Gets 2 Platinum per warp.
While as a member of the Deck Officers you gain the ability to use the "Mark" Feature. You can find this in the "Dungeon Master Guide".
"This option makes it easier for melee combatants to harry each other with opportunity attacks.
When a creature makes a melee attack, it can also mark its target. Until the end of the attacker's next turn, any opportunity attack it makes against the marked target has advantage. The Opportunity attack doesn't expend the attacker's reaction, but the attacker can't make the attack if anything, such as the incapacitated condition or the attacker's reaction, but the attacker can't make the attack if anything, such as the incapacitated condition or the shocking grasp spell, is preventing it from taking reactions. The attacker is limited to one opportunity attack per turn."

While as an Engineer Officer you can craft 2 non-magical items per warp. Provided you have a recipe from the Researchers.
Rank 1: You gain the Proficiency with the Sleight of Hand Skill.
Rank 2: You gain the Proficiency with the Insight Skill.
Rank 3: You gain the Artificer Initiate feat.
While as an Arcano-Technical Officer, you can enchant 2 equipment's per warp. Provided you have the recipe from the Researchers and the material from the Engineering Officers or Diplomats.
Rank 1: You gain the Proficiency with the Arcane Skill or Religion Skill.
Rank 2: You gain the Proficiency with the Arcane Skill or Religion Skill.
Rank 3: You gain the Magic Initiate Feat.
While as a Steward you gain access to the "Healing Surge" Feature. You can find this in the "Dungeon Master Guide".
As an action, a character can use a healing surge and spend up to half his or her Hit Dice. For each Hit Die spent in this way, the player rolls the die and adds the character's Constitution modifier. The character regains hit point equal to the total. The player can decide to spend an additional Hit Die after each roll.
A character who uses a healing surge can't do so again until he or she finishes a short or long rest.
Rank 1: You gain the Proficiency with the Cook's Utensils.
Rank 2: You gain the Proficiency with the History Skill.
Rank 3: You gain the Chef feat.
While as a Doctor you can craft 2 consumable potions per warp. Provided you have or are given the non-magical vials from the Engineer officers or Diplomats, you however are not required to have a recipe to make them.
Rank 1: You gain the Proficiency with the Medicine Skill or Herbalism Kit.
Rank 2: You gain the Proficiency with the Medicine Skill or Herbalism Kit.
Rank 3: You gain the Healer feat.
While as a Researcher you can craft 2 recipes to help make magic items for the Arcano-Technical Officers and Engineering Officers. Provided you have the parchment to scribe on them.
Rank 1: You gain the Proficiency with the Investigation Skill or the Dungeon Delver feat.
Rank 2: You gain the Proficiency with the Investigation Skill or the Dungeon Delver feat.
Rank 3: You gain the Proficiency with the Perception Skill.
While as a Diplomat, the prices your character deals with, is 25% better in your favor. This does not stack with other characters. If you come to a weird number round down for simplicity. Diplomats can purchase recipes and materials to aid their workmen's time restraints.
Rank 1: You gain the Proficiency with the Persuasion Skill or Deception Skill.
Rank 2: You gain the Proficiency with the Persuasion Skill or Deception Skill.
Rank 3: You gain the Linguist feat.
While as a Security Guard the prices your character deals with, is 25% better in your favor. This does not stack with other characters. If you come to a weird number round down for simplicity.
Rank 1: You gain the Athlete feat or the Tough feat.
Rank 2: You gain the Athlete feat or the Tough feat.
