About

Both Taiwan and the United States play pivotal roles in global technology development, particularly in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The rise of AI has made human-AI interaction a key focus of research. Collaboration between Taiwan and the United States holds immense potential to drive progress in this field. However, many Taiwanese students currently lack access to and connections with US-based HCI professionals and institutions, creating a knowledge gap that hinders the realization of "AI for All." This workshop aims to address this gap by fostering interaction, enhancing awareness, and facilitating networking opportunities between Taiwanese students and the US HCI community.

The primary goal of this workshop is to enhance the relationship between the United States and Taiwan in the field of HCI research, specifically human-AI interaction, by fostering academic and professional exchange. The objectives are to:

Introduce Taiwanese students to diverse HCI research and educational opportunities with US-based professionals and institutions.

Connect students with US-based HCI professionals, institutions, and educational programs.

Build long-term collaborations between Taiwanese and US HCI communities to support student exchanges, joint research projects, and other academic partnerships.
