Call for Abstracts
Abstract submission deadline: 11 September 2022, 23:59 (anywhere on earth)

Workshop: 23 September 2022 (9:00 to 17:00 BST) and 24 September 2022 (9:00 to 13:00 BST)
We are soliciting extended abstracts presenting research:
in psychology or cognitive science with relevance to (explainable) AI and machine learning.
in machine learning or (explainable) AI with relevance to psychology, cognitive science or related fields.
We are particularly interested in research that integrates both psychological/cognitive science aspects as well as machine learning/AI aspects.
Topics (non-exhaustive list):
Explanations and trust in AI
Counterfactual explanations
Causal models for XAI
Causal explanations
Actionable recourse
Gaming
Interaction with AI
Explanations and uncertainty in AI
Distribution shifts and explanations in AI
Argumentation and explanation in AI
Submission guidelines
Maximum 2 pages extended abstract (including any figures and excluding references). Abstracts should be submitted as a PDF.
The abstract should include a title, names and affiliations of all authors.
All abstracts should be submitted no later than 11 September 2022, 23:59 (anywhere on earth) to the following email address: human.behavioral.xai@gmail.com
Submissions will be non-archival. The presented work can be already published, a preprint, or in progress.
