1. Our "No-Server" Promise
Huinga is built as an offline-first application. We believe that the privacy of your community is paramount. We do not store, collect, or transmit any of your data to external servers. There is no account creation required to use the app.
2. Local Device Storage
All information you enter into the app—including hobby logs, names, records, and reflections —is stored exclusively on your physical device.
• We have no access to your data.
• No data is shared with third parties.
• No data is used for advertising or tracking.
3. User Responsibility & Data Loss Warning
Because your data never leaves your device:
• No Cloud Backups: If you delete the app, all stored attendance and reflection history will be permanently erased.
• Device Specific: Data cannot be synced between multiple devices (e.g., from a phone to a tablet).
• Backup Recommendation: We recommend manually exporting or screenshotting important reports if you need a permanent record outside of this device.
4. Privacy
While the app is used to manage names and notes, it is designed for adult users. Since all data remains on your own device, you maintain full control over the privacy and security of the information you choose to enter. Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your phone's own security (like your passcode or FaceID). We do not transmit data over the internet, therefore "Encryption in Transit" is not applicable as no data is "in transit." If you wish to delete your records, simply clear the app's data in your phone settings or uninstall the app.
