For Data Scientists in AI and Machine Learning

Requirements:

• Education: At least a Master's degree in Statistics/Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: Strong coding skills in Python (preferred) or R.

• Experience: Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Run and optimize deep learning models for various projects.

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.

• Collaborate with the research team to develop innovative AI solutions.

Additional Duties:

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.

For Postdoctoral Fellowship

This position emphasizes (1) developing statistical and machine learning methods, especially for network data, and (2) analyzing various biological and biomedical data through collaborative research projects. It is expected that approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to methodological work, with the remaining 30% focused on collaborative efforts. Specific methodology areas of interest include, but are not limited to, Statistical network analysis and Deep learning. Boston University offers competing salary and excellent benefits. 

• Requirements:

1. PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics/Computer Science/Bioinformatics, or a closely related field.

2. Strong academic record with publications at prestigious journals or conferences.

3. Excellent English writing skills.

4. Strong programming skills in the following languages: Python and R.
