Huilin Li's Lab--Statistical Genetics, Metagenomics and BioMedical Research
Welcome to the Huilin's Lab! I am a full Professor in Division of Biostatistics, Department of Population Health, New York University School of Medicine.
My central research focus is to develop and apply innovative statistical methods to solve challenging data analysis problems in three biomedical research areas: 1) high-throughput metagenomics/microbiome/genetics data analysis, 2) complex survey methodology, and 3) biomedical collaborative research.
In recent years, my research group has been focused on developing novel statistical methods in analyzing metagenomics and microbiome data, including microbiome association test, longitudinal microbiome data analysis, and microbiome causal/mediation modeling. We have enriched experiences in analyzing microbiome data through widely collaborations at NYU on human/murine studies, clinical trials/observational population level epidemiological studies, and cross sectional studies/longitudinal studies.
May 8, 2023. Congratulations to Dr. Zhou! His paper: STEMSIM: a simulator of within-strain short-term evolutionary mutations for longitudinal metagenomic data is published at Bioinformatics.
