Research

The Chen Lab is an interdisciplinary group in Resources Engineering (RE) at the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). Our work combines aspects of geochronology, tectonics, crustal growth, secondary ionization mass spectrometry, and earth geochemical cycles to better understand the global geodynamics and associated interactions with the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere throughout geologic time.

• Current research projects include field work in Argentina, Australia, China, Finland and W Africa. We are always looking for talented and motivated team members (PhD, or PostDoc) to join our lab and all interested applicants are encouraged to contact Dr. Hui-Chun Chen for further information.
