Machine Learning & Software Engineer, Project & Product Manager, and Product and Business Developer.

To develop and use AI/ML to contribute to the development of society and all stakeholders inhabiting Earth, especially those without a voice, while helping startups turn into success stories. I am passionate about using ML to give a voice to those who don't have one while creating awareness  Those who don't have one so we build a more inclusive, just world.

Short Bio

Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse roles and functions due to my workplace's opportunities and needs.  

I started my career as an RF Engineer and Project Manager in a small telco. As an RF engineer and project manager, I designed and launched one of the first LMDS wireless networks in the world. Due to special circumstances, I was promoted to General Manager and created and launched successful innovative new telecom last-mile access services.   

At that time, I was invited by a prestigious university to be one of the founding fathers of the Telecommunications Engineering program of studies where I developed the program studies (curricula) and also taught the first course in the program.  

As a Telecommunications Expert Consultant, I worked on high-impact projects that benefited millions. For example, I worked on estimating the value of a spectrum band for a government auction. This project brought broadband internet services to millions of people.

Working as vice president of Engineering and Technology for a holding group that owned several technology ventures was second to none. This was an awesome and intense job that required working with multidisciplinary teams and tight budgets, coaching new engineers, training stakeholders in the organization about the technology used in our solutions, creating relationships with technology vendors, and developing new technologies. I developed a MAN/WAN FDD network, designed a POS payment network, developed a last-mile PCS communication product, and established one of the first mobile phone refurbishing centers in the Americas, generating hundreds of new jobs.  I finally moved to China to establish ouI moved to China to set up a manufacturing and supply chain.

Later, I worked as vice president of Sales and Marketing Strategy for a Chinese startup.  My job was to open new channels and procure large orders that could catapult the company to a world stage. I created dynamic marketing strategies to bring world-class telco large purchase orders, opened new successful markets, represented the company in international events, and promoted our technology to stakeholders. I closed the most valuable contract with the largest telecom operator in Latin America. This opened the doors for the company to attract more customers and have access to financial backups. My work contributed to the sale of the company to a large conglomerate.

Working as head of development and Project manager, I was involved in developing hardware and software solutions for wireless devices. I developed and launched an integrated ultra-low-cost last-mile device that became the standard for the telecom industry. This saved millions of dollars for regional telcos and contributed to millions of previously unconnected households, accessing universal services.

During the last 8 years, I am developing machine learning models and software applications, including mobile applications.  This brings me to my life project of using Artificial Intelligence to give a voice to those who don't have one.
