Japan is hosting the Tokyo Olympics 2021 as "proof of victory over the coronavirus". The idea of the Olympics portrays ideals such as world peace and the unity of people through sports. The various designs used in the Olympics also reflect the ideals of the world. The participants thought about how they can represent the two elements of this Olympics, "Japan" and "Coronavirus".
Then, they draw a specific medal design for the Tokyo Olympics 2021, for both the back and front of the medal.
