Welcome to the Hudson's Bay Neighborhood Association
One of Vancouver's most historic neighborhoods.
Home to approximately 1,650 residents, the Hudson's Bay Neighborhood blends nearly two centuries of history with a vibrant, connected community. From the grounds of historic Fort Vancouver and Officers Row to tree-lined streets, local parks, and welcoming neighbors, our neighborhood is a place where the past and present come together every day.
Long before Vancouver became a city, this area was home to the Chinook people. In 1825, the Hudson's Bay Company established Fort Vancouver here, creating one of the Pacific Northwest's major centers of trade and settlement. Over the years, the neighborhood has grown alongside Vancouver while preserving the rich heritage that makes it one of the city's most distinctive places.
Whether you've lived here for decades or just moved in, we're glad you're here. This website is your hub for neighborhood news, events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved. Together, we're building a neighborhood that's connected, welcoming, and proud of both its history and its future.
