More about the breed

Our puppies are F1bb generation or as some call them Micro Mini Labradoodles. They are the 3rd generation Labrador / Poodle mix and are the smallest and most shed free. Our dogs have been great house dogs and are easy to train and very low maintenance. Years of careful selective breeding result in a truly special dog. The 1st generation (Great Grandma) was a full size pure bred Labrador (60-80 lbs) and bred with a mini Poodle to get a F1 Labradoodle. The 1st Gen isn't generally very mini but is the first step. The F1 generation (Grandma) is then bred with a mini Poodle again and you get F1b which is our Azzy (Mother). F1b is smaller (15-30 lbs) and sheds less. We bred her with a mini poodle and now we have F1bb which is the most Poodle type coat that is the most hypoallergenic and sheds the least. They should be in the 10 to 20 lb range as the mother is a 24 lb F1b Mini Labradoodle and the father is  7lb mini Poodle. All the puppies we have had are F1bb so if you look back through our posts you can see how they look. We love the lab temperament mixed with the non shedding hypoallergenic characteristics of the poodle.
