Hubee ("we", "us", "our") operates the Hubee mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from you, how we use it, with whom we may share it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.
By using the Hubee App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Account and authentication information: full name, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form), and IDs from third-party authentication providers (Google ID, Telegram ID, Kakao ID) when you sign in using these services.
Profile information: profile picture, short bio, preferred language (Uzbek, English, Korean).
Learning and progress data: which courses you are enrolled in, courses you have completed, points earned, rank, likes received, and medals awarded.
Device and technical information: device model and manufacturer, operating system version, User-Agent string, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, and Wi-Fi IP address (when available).
Push notification tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens if you enable notifications.
Usage and analytics data: app interactions, crash reports, performance metrics, and anonymous usage statistics.
Security and log data: timestamps of important actions, login events, refresh tokens (with expiration time and revocation status).
Important: The App does NOT collect or request access to sensitive permissions such as SMS messages, call logs, contacts, precise GPS location, camera, microphone, or your photo/media library (except when you voluntarily upload a profile picture).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To create, authenticate, and secure your user account
To provide, personalize, and improve the educational services and course experience
To manage course enrollment, track your learning progress, and award points/medals
To send important notifications about courses, updates, or reminders (only if you enable push notifications)
To detect, prevent, and fix technical problems, crashes, and security incidents
To understand how people use the App and make it better (using aggregated and anonymous data)
To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
3. Sharing of Information
We do NOT sell your personal information to anyone.
We may share your information only in these limited situations:
With Google Firebase services – for crash reporting, app performance monitoring, analytics, and push notifications
With Google Cloud Firestore – to securely store and manage all application data
With Google Sign-In – when you choose to sign in with Google
With Kakao SDK – when you choose to sign in with Kakao
With Telegram (if integration is used) – when you choose to sign in with Telegram
All third-party services we use are bound by their own privacy policies and are only allowed to use your data for the specific purposes described above.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
Active user accounts: We keep your personal information as long as your account remains active.
Refresh tokens: Kept until they expire (usually 30–90 days) or until revoked.
Anonymous analytics data: Retained according to Google Firebase policy (typically up to 14 months).
Security logs: Kept for 6–24 months for security and fraud prevention purposes.
Deleted accounts: Identifiable personal information is permanently deleted within 30 days after account deletion (except where we are required to keep certain data for legal reasons).
5. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
To see what personal data we hold about you
To request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
To request deletion of your account and associated personal data
To opt out of receiving push notifications at any time
To withdraw consent for any processing based on consent

6. Children's Privacy
The Hubee App is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years old.
If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your information.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country (including South Korea and the United States).
Data protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your location. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and/or on our website.
We recommend reviewing this page periodically for any changes.
