Southeast LA AJCC will be conducting various recruitment events throughout the year. These event will host employers, recruiters, and other organizations that are looking to find qualified candidates to fill their company’s open positions. Other organizations can provide information about the services and resources they have to offer the public. Candidates attend these recruitment events to learn more about available industries and resources available to them.
Interviewing for: Entry-Level Job Coaches
About the company: We provide assistance and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
About the job duties: No experience is needed. Job Coaches train out participants on employment skills as well as assist them in applying for jobs, preparing for interviews, and retain their employments. Candidate must be able to use Microsoft Office and have customer service skills.
Minimum requirements: Must be able to background check and drug test. Participant must have reliable transportation.
Job Details: Part-time and full-time positions available. Monday-Friday.

What would you do?
As a Food Safety Sanitor, you will be performing PSSI’s verified 8-Step Sanitation process to protect our nation’s food supply. This includes, but is not limited to:
Frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of sanitation equipment
Working with or around PSSI issued chemicals for sanitation
Required use of Lock-out/Tag-out safety protocols
Working in wet, hot, and or cold environments.
When taking part in the recruitment event, there are several items that you may consider bringing with you to help you present yourself to recruiters and hiring managers. The following list outlines a few things that you may want to take with you to the recruitment event so you can provide required documents and information if a hiring manager or prospective recruiter requests it:
California DMV Identification Card or Drivers License (If expired you could bring other right to work documentation)
Extra copies of your resume
Notepad or paper and pens
Application preparation materials
Your elevator speech (Your pitch that will introduce yourself to the employer under 60 seconds)
An extra change of clothes
