Huaxia Li is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He earned his Ph.D. in Management (Accounting Information Systems) from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. He is also a faculty member of the U-M Center for Global Health Equity and an affiliate of the Graham Sustainability Institute. Prior to his current role, he served as a Researcher at the Rutgers Accounting Research Center (RARC) and the Continuous Auditing and Reporting Lab (CAR Lab).
Huaxia's teaching interests include accounting information systems, business data analytics, automation, and financial, managerial, and governmental accounting. He received his M.S. in Information Technology and Analytics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and his B.B.A in Accounting and Finance from the University of Macau.
