Just bought a huawei watch for myself and was hoping to find a way to get my steps into the fitbit app to compete with my wife. I've done some searching but i haven't been able to find any apps or services that could do it for me. Thought I would ask here and see if anyone has found a way to do this or has some advice? Thanks!

I am considering getting the Huawei watch fit SE but I cannot find reliable reviews about it in English. Can anybody tell me if I can install apps on it using my phone? I have an android. Also, are there any concerns regarding this watch? I didn't wanna go with the band 8 as it doesn't have gps and I don't think it has storage for apps but the fit se seems to have 4 gb of storage. However, even with this information I wasn't sure if I can install apps on it. It is my first smartwatch/fittness tracker, so I would appreciate any guidance from the users of Huawei watches.

I have a question regarding the Huawei core of Huawei Watch 4 and the one on Huawei Phones, without any Google services. As it is known, Cuvre supports contactless payments on phones through it's app feature, Curve Pay or through Huawei Wallet.Although there is no app for the watch.Different banks around the world have made an app for their customers to use on Huawei phones for contactless payments.

A user said that contactless payments through Curve Pay worked, when he used an older version of curve apk file directly from Hauwei App Gallery. I asked him and he said he couldn't remember which version it was. He said he reset the watch and didn't expect that the newer version Curve Pay wouldn't work on it. The user says that something is missing from the watch core.Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to get the apk files that were uploaded to Huawei App Gallery (from 2022-2023) or any archive similar to apkmirror or apkpure.I read online from Curve saying that there are few complexities coming from HMS core (for them to build an app for the watch) but my question is how HMS core on Huawei Watch 4 different from HMS core on Huawei Phones? If many different bank apps with contactless payments work on the watch, then what complexities are they talking about?

I love Lifesum and I love my Huawei watch. Lifesum is worlds better at tracking the calories and macros, but without the data from my Huawei watch I can't use Lifesum to the extent I'd like to. I really wanna keep Lifesum cause despite trying a lot (!) of trackers it's always been the best. But yeah, the connection is very important to me and would be a reason to switch to another app. Entering everything twice, entering my training etc takes way too much time. Ain't nobody got time for that?

I have a problem with Huawei Health app. I installed this one with Aurora. Not sure whether I should have signed into Aurora with my google account rather than anonymous first or install via Google play website signed in. I cannot make puchases on this app (clicking the price button does nothing on the app). Everything else including syncing my watch with Health app works flawlessly on /e/. I even went as far as trying emulators like Noxplayer and Bluestacks to try to workaround the issue but not able to connect to GT2 watch with those emulators.

Samsung Health is awesome by itself, but there are ways to get even more out of it. First, you can sync the app and your phone to Samsung Health-compatible devices, like fitness bands, smart watches, headphones, and some smart TVs to help you stay on track with your fitness needs. You can also sync your other favorite fitness apps to Samsung Health, so you can have all your fitness data in one place.

Since you can't bring your phone in the pool with you, why not connect your smart watch to Samsung Health so you can keep track of your laps? Adding an accessory is easy to do and can be completed using the Samsung Health app. If you have already connected and set up your Samsung device in the Galaxy Wearable app, it will show as a registered accessory in Samsung Heath.

Samsung Health can connect with a number of other apps, like workplace wellbeing programs, to make it easier for you to track your health all in one place. If you've connected another app to Samsung Health, you can manage its individual permissions so it only reads the data you want to share.

Samsung Health can also be used on your TV. We recommend connecting your mobile app and other compatible accessories (such as a Samsung Galaxy watch) with the experience on your TV. This will allow you manage your health and wellness across multiple devices.

Currently can't link the Huawei health app or the Huawei GT watch to the Fitbit app. it would be great to do so in future as I recently upgraded from the Fitbit charge2 to the GT watch so it works alongside my phone and still want to link everything up to the Fitbit app and carry on where I left off.

I'm using Huawei P9... Unfortunately, I didnt know about the compatibility issues when I ordered my Versa. SO now, I encounter my watch cannot connect to my home WiFi, I've been trying all sort of suggestions / remedies but it still doesnt work. This is really frustrating and annoying, in my phone Fitbit app always show incorrect password.

Huawei Health is by far the BEST app for runners. It has a healthy breakdown of your run and enables you to set up running training which would cost extra on most other apps. This app however doesn't charge you extra! The training includes set days and gives guidance on how fast you need to run etc. Forget Strava... This is the way forward!

With the watch closed, it has an IPX7 water resistance rating, but no dust resistance at all, and nothing when the watch is open either. The earbuds have a basic IPX4 water resistance rating, so they will be fine for use in the rain and when exercising.

What else? There are several odd default settings. The always-on screen is off by default, but even with it on, you have to press the crown to interact with the screen. The unnecessary added step is annoying, but if you dig into the settings you can adjust the watch to show the main watch screen when you simply raise your wrist instead, with no need to press the crown.

Upfront, the Huawei Watch 3 flaunts a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466466 pixels. The screen is bright, vivid, and exceptionally sharp. It delivers accurate colors and deep blacks that make everything from widgets, watch faces, and the interface look great. It is also adequately bright offering great visibility indoors and outdoors. The Watch 3 also features 5 ATM water resistance allowing you to wear it in the rain, shower, or even in a swimming pool.

The Huawei Watch 3 is the first smartwatch to ship with HarmonyOS 2.0. Since its launch, Huawei has consistently rolled out monthly updates which not only added new features but also refined performance and fixed a lot of bugs. In terms of compatibility, the smartwatch can be paired with both Android and iOS devices. But for the best experience, Huawei recommends using it with their smartphones.

Wi-Fi connectivity and eSIM compatibility are other features that make the Huawei Watch 3 a good proposition over most competitor smartwatches. Wi-Fi comes in handy when moving around the house. Even if the smartphone is in the bedroom and you are in the living room or kitchen, out of Bluetooth range, the Watch 3 connects to the home Wi-Fi network so that you continue getting notifications without any interruption. Talking about eSIM (4G LTE) connectivity, it is limited to certain regions such as China, so I was not able to test it here in India.

The Huawei Watch 3 is more of a fitness tracker first, and smartwatch later. It comes with over 17 professional workout modes such as basic walk and run modes, fat-burning run, and aerobic endurance run among others. Each of these modes, for instance, basic walk, has pre-defined time and phases, such as alternate speed walk for 3 minutes and jog for two minutes for 22 minutes.

Lastly, given the prolonged COVID-19 scenario around, Huawei has added a couple of handy features that make the Watch 3 an interesting proposition. These features include SpO2 and skin temperature measurements, allowing you to keep track of your vitals. I compared the reading taken by the watch with a pulse-oximeter available over the counter and there was barely any difference in both readings, making the Watch 3 reliable again. e24fc04721
