The Institute for Broad Integration of Smart and Connected Cyber-Physical Systems (BISON Institute) was formed as part of a new initiative in the College of Engineering and Architecture at Howard University for interdisciplinary collaboration, enabling open research across diverse areas within Howard University and beyond. This initiative begins with a collaborative cohort of researchers drawn from multiple disciplines to solving the most critical problems for advancing Intelligence and Connectivity Across Systems, Critical Infrastructure, Energy, Homes, Healthcare, Transportation and Mobility.
