Wood and Luxury Vinyl Plank Nosings and Treads
We also make wood nosings in any length you require. Oh and did I mention we do all these in Luxury Vinyl Plank also? 6+ years ago we researched and developed a solid wood core vinyl nosing using the same flooring as you are installing so you can do stairs etc that look amazing! No more metal or crappy plastic nose trim… Nu-uh! We went on to create a complete tread system that is simply trimmed to fit and installed. Recently we've enhanced our tread design by adding pre-mitered treads with returns that are ready for trimming and installing. The photos below show a sample with both ends double-returned, showing a fully open tread (no side stringers) can also be achieved if required. The bottom photos show the treads installed in their new home. Installation was completed by a local recommended contractor for the homeowner.
Why Our LVP Nosings Are The Best
Some companies making LVP nosings produce a hollow nosing shape which looks satisfactory but without a solid wood core they are not impact resistant. Try slamming a fridge cart into one…with a fridge on it! Just sayin..... We designed our nosings to be rugged and ready to handle the way we live.
