Our motto is ‘A scout is to be resourceful’
The scout Section is for young people, aged between 10½ and 14 years.
Our Scout troop meet on a Friday evening from 7pm to 9:30pm throughout the whole year.

In the cooler months of the year we spend our time learning traditional scouting skills, as well as brushing up on our boating knowledge.
In the summer months we take to the water. We sail, canoe, kayak, pull, powerboat, raft, and learn a lot about being safe on the water.
In the summer we also go on a summer camp. With Holy Trinity no two camps are the same! we can be camping in a back to basics shelters one year, and then next year we might be at a Jamboree with 1000's of other scouts.

When your journey with us comes to an end at 14 you will need to move on too an explorer group. We are associated with Pheonix ESSU explorer group and will ensure a smooth transition up the ladder for you. They will meet at the same time and usually the same venue as we do.

Our Scout uniform consists of a blue sweatshirt with your badges sewn on and a coloured scarf or 'necker’ to represent your local group.We wear a royal navy white hat with a taliban.

Uniform can either be bought from our online shop - Scout Store - or from a local supplier. If you’re not sure where to start, adult volunteers can give you more information about what to buy and where to buy it.
