Do I need an account?
No. HTML Playground works right away, with no sign-up or login.
Where is my progress stored?
All progress, XP, quiz scores and favorite tools are stored only on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
Does my progress sync across devices or back up to iCloud?
No. Your progress stays on the device where you earned it.
What happens if I delete the app?
All progress, XP, badges and favorite tools are permanently deleted.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Lessons, quizzes, the cheat sheet and all 82 tools work without an internet connection. Only previews that load media from a web address need a connection.
How do I earn XP?
You earn 20 XP for each completed lesson, 25 XP for each correct quiz answer, and 50 bonus XP for the daily challenge.
How do levels work?
Every 500 XP takes you to the next level. There are six levels, from Beginner to HTML Master.
Is the daily challenge the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone gets the same five questions each day, and a new set unlocks at midnight.
Can I reset my progress?
Yes. Go to Settings to clear lesson data, quiz data, or all data at once.
Can I use the generated code in my own projects?
Yes. All code generated by the tools is yours to use freely, including in commercial projects.
Does HTML Playground collect any personal data?
No. The app doesn't collect, share or track any personal data.
