To engage in activities, which provide encouragement, leadership, and assistance to High Tech Elementary School, so the school can reach its goals and objectives.
To encourage member participation in school activities.
To facilitate communication between home and school, and between the Parent Associations of the schools at Liberty Station.
To promote the recognition of High Tech Elementary in the community.
The PA supports the school by providing enhancement funding for project work, enrichment opportunities, school facility improvements, and equipment upgrades. We also plan appreciation events for our teachers and staff, welcome and support families in their needs, connect families to school volunteer needs, and support school events and activities.
The PA plans and produces regular opportunities for the HTe Community to come together outside of school hours to meet, greet, play, and adventure together.
Community events include Back to School Beach Bash, Family Camping Trips, Skate Night, Movie Night, Game Night, School Variety Show, and International Picnic
The PA hosts two major fundraisers and several small "fun" raisers throughout the year. Funds raised at these events go directly back to the school and to providing community building opportunities for families.
Fundraisers include Fall Campaign, Spring "Move"-a-thon, logowear Sales, Book Fair, Family Dinners, Halloween Candy Buy Back, and event concession sales.
The PA connects with parents through various communications channels to make sure everyone is aware of all the amazing things going on in our HTe community. Find information at our monthly meetings, on our website & social media, through the Konstella App, and through monthly e-mail newsletters.
