As of spring 2023 changes

The spring 2023 season began a new chapter for HTAA softball with two major changes to our program:  (below is our message dated 2/2023)

1 - Our board has elected to take our town program for our 4th to 8th grade players into District 13 Little League and play by Little League rules.  Over the last few years, other local towns have elected to join leagues making it difficult for our town teams to find local competition.  Joining Little League will allow for the ease of scheduling and continue our local competition with teams such as Merchantville, Cherry Hill, Oaklyn, etc.  Our Little League teams will be evenly drafted as described in our by-laws.  We will continue with our in town Pigtail and Ponytail divisions for our youngest players.  You will see the division descriptions reflect these changes when you register your player.

2 - Our board has elected to drop the requirement to play on a Little League (previously called town) team if you play on our travel team.  Players can now opt to play either on our travel team and our Little League team OR just play on our travel team.  You will see the division descriptions reflect these changes when you register your player.
