IF YOU PREFER BRIEF DIRECTIONS

·         Go to My Scouting

o   Create a free account if you don’t already have one

·         Log in to account

·         Take (a) Safeguarding Youth training and save hard copy or electronic copy of completion certificate

·         Search in “Scouting U” for Peer to Peer Abuse training

·         Take the training, and save hard copy or electronic image copy of completion certificate

IF YOU PREFER MORE DETAILED DIRECTIONS

Once you log in to My Scouting click on the gray box on the right side of the screen that has the English and Spanish versions of the Safeguarding Youth logo.  Be sure to click the version of the logo that is in English.  This training is about two-hours in length.  You must save and print the course completion certificate, or make and save a screen shot of the completion certificate.

To access the Peer On Peer training, click on the  “Scouting U” logo beneath the Safeguarding logos where you took the Safeguarding Youth Training.  This will bring you to the course catalog.  In the search bar, type “Peer” and search for that term.  The only result that will pop-up will be the Peer On Peer Abuse training module.  It is 60 minutes long.  You must save and print the course completion certificate, or make and save a screen shot of the completion certificate.
