Ensuring Your Voice Is Heard
The Consent Order implements the federal court–mandated desegregation agreement. Its goal is to ensure equitable educational opportunities for all students, regardless of race, by managing Huntsville City School District's key areas of compliance including school attendance zones, access to advanced academic programs, fairness in student discipline, staff and faculty diversity, extracurricular access, and school climate. The Consent Order guides the district toward “unitary status.”
