Hsun-Hsun Lin is a professor in the Department of Physiology, School of Medicine, at Tzu-Chi University. She graduated from the School of Pharmacy at Taipei Medical College and obtained a pharmacist license. Subsequently, Lin pursued her master's degree in Pharmacology at National Yang-Ming Medical College in Taiwan. In 1997, she received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Medical College of Ohio, which merged with the University of Toledo in 2003. Subsequently, Dr. Lin engaged in postdoctoral research in the Department of Pharmacology at East Tennessee State University. After completing her doctoral studies, she returned to Taiwan and was a faculty member at Tzu-Chi College of Technology until 2004. In August 2004, Dr. Lin transferred to the School of Medicine of Tzu-Chi University. Dr. Lin's research focuses on the central regulation of cardiovascular function and the impact of neuropeptides on NMDA-induced responses. The methodologies employed in her research include whole-cell patch recording, blood pressure monitoring, pain transmission evaluation, behavior observation, Western blotting, immunocytochemistry, and microdialysis/HPLC analysis.
