Dr. Hyeok Jun Yang
Notre Dame Society of Science Fellow (2023-2025)
I'm interested in theoretical understanding of strongly correlated materials, especially Quantum magnetism, Kagome superconductor, and Transition metal dichalcogenides. Besides physics, I enjoy cycling, cardio, watching movies and recently learning to cook!
Dr. Tzu-Chi Hsieh
I am currently interested in thermoelectric effects in superconductors and machine learning applications in physics. Outside of research, I enjoy playing badminton, hiking, and drinking boba tea.
Graduate Students
Shih-Chuan (Robert) Lien
Notre Dame MS&E Program fellowship
Few-layer Van der Waals systems, topological invariants in interacting systems.
Motto: People who take cold showers are impervious to rain.
Anisa Sadeghi
My current research explores the experimental signatures of unconventional superconductors. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, reading, and watching movies.
Ruoyang Cui
I utilize both analytical and numerical tools to study quantum geometry in symmetry broken phases.
Besides condensed matter, I like playing badminton, playing with model trucks, and especially lying in bed in a daze.
