VISITED VUN ART

In the middle of July, Vun Art welcomed students and teaching staff of Ewha Womans University coming from Korea to visit their working site. They came to learn about the background of Vun Art and the start-up story with Social Business of Mr. Le Viet Cuong, Vun Art’s business founder and director.
While Ewha University’s delegation toured the office and product display area, Mr. Cuong gave them an introduction to the social business of Vun Art. They learned about the eco-tourist activities of making silk-grafted paintings at the Temple of Van Phuc silk craft and Van Phuc silk conservation center.
The delegation also had an opportunity to interact with Vun Art’s workers with disabilities as they created silk paintings and beautiful products for everyday use out of recycled scraps.
In just their short visit to Vun Art, the delegation of professors and students from Ewha Womans University motivated the members of Vun Art’s community to continue to strive towards our mission: helping people with disabilities integrate confidently into society.
The student startup movement and social innovation are spreading everywhere. Vun Art hopes that inspiration from our enterprise will ignite passion and enthusiasm to serve the community of young people in Vietnam and across the world.
