The heroes from Beforus were born into a new universe, referred to as Universe A2.

They were born onto a planet known as Alternia, overseen by a first guardian known as Doc Scratch. Due to his influence, this planet would become much more violent compared to its Pre-Scratch counterpart.

However, the Beforans would not be the heroes this time. Instead, they would be the ancestors to the ones meant to play the game.

There was also one anomaly. One of these ancestors began to remember the peacefulness of his life in the previous universe.
