RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

X-ray scattering
Studied coherent phonon dynamics of CDW order in Kagome metals using XFEL | Adviser: Prof. Changyong Song

  • Frustrated phonon with charge density wave in vanadium Kagome metal

Constructed a home-lab low-temperature X-ray scattering setup

  • Built an X-ray scattering setup with a Huber 4-circle diffractometer and rotating anode source

  • Built a low-temperature setup using a closed-cycle cryostat

Resonant X-ray scattering

  • Circular Dichroism Resonant X-ray Scattering (CD-RXS) using a diamond phase retarder setup

  • Resonant soft X-ray scattering (RSXS) measurements of magnetic ordering

Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) 

THz-TDS study of localized phonons in the CDW state of Kagome metals
