HSN Developers provides Noor-e-Islam as a religious and educational application. This Privacy Policy explains how the app accesses and handles information.
Noor-e-Islam may request approximate or precise location access to calculate local prayer times, determine the Qibla direction and display location-related information.
Location is accessed only when required for these features. HSN Developers does not operate a server that receives, stores or tracks users’ locations.
Depending on the device and operating system, location information may be processed by the device’s location or geocoding provider to determine a place name. Such processing is controlled by the device platform or service provider and is subject to its applicable privacy terms.
The Qibla feature may use compass, magnetic-field and device-orientation sensor information. Sensor readings are processed on the device to calculate direction and are not stored on HSN Developers’ servers or shared with other users.
The app may store the following information locally on the user’s device:
Language and display preferences
Prayer-time settings
Bookmarks and reading progress
Favourite Duas and Azkar
Counters and custom lists
Other user-selected application settings
This information remains on the device and is not transmitted to HSN Developers.
HSN Developers does not:
Require users to create an account
Collect names, email addresses or phone numbers through the app
Use advertising or advertising identifiers
Use behavioural analytics or tracking services
Sell personal information
Share users’ locations with other users
Offer payments, subscriptions or in-app purchases
Collect medical or health records
Noor-e-Islam is designed as an offline-first application. Certain location or geocoding functions may depend on services provided by the device’s operating system.
Location permission is requested only for features that require location, including prayer-time and Qibla calculations. Users may deny or revoke this permission through their device settings. Some location-dependent features may not function correctly without it.
HSN Developers does not retain personal information on its servers. Preferences, bookmarks and other saved information are stored locally on the device.
Users can delete locally stored information by clearing Noor-e-Islam’s application data through Android settings or by uninstalling the app.
Noor-e-Islam is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed toward children under 13. HSN Developers does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Noor-e-Islam includes traditional Islamic Duas and Ruqyah material for religious education and spiritual comfort.
The app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Its content is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Because user preferences and reading information are stored locally, users are encouraged to protect their devices using appropriate security controls. No method of electronic processing or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app’s functionality or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
