TW-PS-H14

A new set of well-tuned Vp, Vs, and Vp/Vs models for Taiwan region are determined by an elaborate joint-inversion scheme that integrates the data of P- and S-wave travel times, S-P times, and the borehole logging data (for near-surface constraints) into one system. Data include 7,587 local earthquakes, 1050 stations (integrated from CWBSN, TSMIP, BATS, JMA, TAIGER, temporal OBS arrays, and Fujian seismic network, China), and a total of 200,051 readings of P-wave, S-wave, and S-P times, as well as 1,780 P- and S-logging data.
