Jeni E. Ten Eyck is a forth-year medical school (MD) student at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. A Toledo native, she graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Microbiology, a B.A. in Fiction Writing, and with a M.S. in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University before returning to Toledo for medical school. During her time here, she has been highly involved in training community members how to reverse an opioid overdose with Naloxone through the Addiction Medicine Club, and providing medical services free of charge through the Community Cares Clinic both locally and in Central America. Jeni has also helped educate the students of the greater Toledo area through Student-2-Student, teaching anatomy to local high schools and college students, through HEARTS, educating elementary students about their health and bodies, and as a TPS Substitute Teacher, where she usually teaches Art. She is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), Association for Women Surgeons (AWS), and the American Urological Association (AUA). She hopes to continue to serve those around her as she pursues a future in surgery.
