I'm a first year medical student, and although I feel medicine is my calling, my passion is probably best described as obsessively finding new hobbies. From baking to learning new instruments, drawing has been one of my more recent undertakings. I started teaching myself how to draw about a year ago, and since then have taken some art classes at the local Art Museum. It's been such an amazing way to exercise some of my creative energy (much needed after long days of scientific study), and I'm honored to be able to share some of it.
