Q: Who are you?

A: I am Bobby Bobberson.

Q: Are you affiliated with the previous Heaven Studio project?

A: No, I am not. This is an unofficial project to continue the Rhythm Heaven aspect of Heaven Studio, as the current official project appears to be heading in a different, developer-oriented direction.

Q: What are the differences with the different builds of Heaven Studio?

A: So as to quickly sum it up:

• Lush Release: The version from January 2024. Other than for opening very old levels (levels made prior to mid-2023,) there is little reason to keep using the Lush version.

• Nightly Build: The existing WIP versions of Heaven Studio made after the Lush Release. It contains many more features, minigames, and bug fixes, but development was halted on 6/18/2024 after the GitHub repository was taken down. This is the last official Heaven Studio version, with its last commit occurring on 6/14/2024.

• Bobby Build: The custom build of Heaven Studio created by myself.  It continues building on the progress made past the Nightly Build with further features, minigames, and bug fixes to the program. 

Q: Will this project be safe from takedowns?

A: It could be taken down at any time just as previous, official versions of the program were. There is no guarantee that this will stay up.

Q: Is the Bobby Build open source?

A: The source code is available in the same Drive as the builds, and can be used in any way you see fit under the same MIT license as the original Heaven Studio. As of this current time, it uses the Unity version 2022.3.41.

Q: Are there other contributors to the Bobby Build?

A: Development is largely handled by myself. However, I do accept contributions of additions and fixes through my Discord messages. Furthermore, the many additional fangames that are added to the build are created and implemented by members of the Heaven Studio Plus server on Discord. (See the last question.)

Q: When is the next update releasing?

A: I shall release updates whenever they are ready enough. There is no set schedule, nor do I have any specific tasks to work on for any specific update. Likewise, please do not contact me as to when an update is to release or when to expect a specific game to be added.

Q: Where can I get older versions of the Bobby Build?

A: The archive.org page has some older things uploaded. However, due to painfully slow upload times, not everything is there yet, and due to file size limitations I cannot keep them uploaded on the Google Drive. If you would like a specific version, please reach out to me. (See the following question.)

Q: I know how to develop in Unity and want to help out / I have a suggestion or bug report / I want to reach out!

A: Please send a friend request to my Discord profile, bobbybobberson12, and send me a message. If you are willing to contribute, please ask before trying to implement a feature, to ensure no one else has contributed something similar. As well, there is an email linked to this page as well as the Google Drive, although I do not check it very often. If there are any other profiles claiming to be me, they are fraudulent.
