Welcome to Hawaii!

The Hawaii State Agriculture Teachers’ Association is excited to host the 2026 NAAE Region I Conference on the beautiful island of Oahu, April 21–24, 2026.

Getting Here

We recommend booking your flight into Honolulu International Airport (HNL). From there, it's an easy drive with convenient access to the conference hotel via Lyft, Uber, or rental car.

Transportation

While large-scale transportation (such as buses) to tours and off-site events will be limited, attendees are encouraged to coordinate car rentals with fellow conference-goers. Rental cars at HNL are affordable, easily accessible, and do not require a shuttle—making them a convenient option for exploring the island and attending all conference activities.

Accommodations

A special conference hotel room block with discounted rates is available at the Prince Waikiki in downtown Honolulu on the famous Waikiki Beach.  See below for online room reservations.  The number of rooms in the block is limited so attendees may want to act fast.  The special room rate is available three nights prior and three nights after the conference for those who wish to stay longer.  Reservations can also be made by calling 855-622-7588 and requesting the "Region 1 Conference" rate.

Conference Location

Daily meetings and most meals will be held Value-Added Product Development Center (VAPDC) in Wahiawa.  This is the agricultural center of Oahu and near several progressive ag ed programs.  The VAPDC is 24 miles north of downtown Honolulu/Waikiki Beach.  Conference attendees should plan for a 45-60 minute drive from downtown to the conference headquarters in Wahiawa.
