Why take this class?

It's the only high school class where students invest in themselves and actually earn back some of their tuition based on the number of completed assignments! We even match a percentage of their earnings. At the end of each semester, students who have turned in all assignments on time will be eligible for an investment match of 30%! 

Class Overview

In this course, students learn how to use their knowledge and experience of how the world works to make more informed choices about their future. By applying this model of thinking about the world, students gain the tools necessary to achieve their own personal mission and unique purpose. 

Students are presented with an economic model based on Austrian Economics (the most free-market economic model) and a historical and political model based on Old British Common Law or Natural Law. In the book Whatever Happened to Justice, we “explore America’s legal heritage and discuss the difference between Higher Law and man-made law, and the connection between rational law and economic prosperity.” Students have the opportunity to see historical events in a new light and begin to notice the root causes of why history repeats itself.
