"A mysterious and inescapable common thread runs through every midnight act of creation: the distant whistle of a train. This steel murmur, tearing through the profound silence of night, lifts not only the ear but the soul, carrying my mind toward travelers who, in the darkness, depart from their homes or return to their embrace. That strange duality of distance and closeness, separation and reunion, permeates every line, every color, every form born in those suspended hours between reality and dream.
It is as if that whistle were the unspoken symphony of destinies, whispering in the background of my canvas or paper. Thus, the train whistle is not merely a sound, but the hidden pulse of my nocturnal creation—a call that forever binds me to the roots of humanity and the endless essence of journey."

This project narrates the story of a human being who, in an attempt to preserve their safety within interior spaces, gradually loses their physical presence in the world.
The following series is a visual exploration of the concept of "post-incarceration insecurity" and the blurry threshold between interior and exterior spaces. Following my release from prison, a profound dread of open spaces and the intense experience of agoraphobia drove me inward, leading me to seek refuge in confined environments and studio-based photography.

Captured in Nimroz province, Afghanistan, this work is a surreal documentation of an impending ecological catastrophe. Having witnessed the acute water crisis firsthand in both Kabul and Nimroz, I see this looming disaster not merely as a resource shortage, but as a monstrous entity preparing to swallow the entire landscape.

Captured a mere two weeks before the historic "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement in Iran and processed three years later through collage and pixel-shifting techniques, this work serves as a socio-political prophecy of a nation in flux. It explores the profound, volatile concept of a regime's shedding of its skin—specifically, the systemic transformation of power held by the clerical establishment.
