Parental Leave

Please read the Top-Up Policy before completing the parental leave form.

All full-time and part-time employees with at least 13 weeks employment qualifty for the Employment Insurance Commission's paid maternity leave. The agency has a Top-Up Program which will top-up an employee's salary to 100% of their gross base salary. Please provide written notice to your HR at least 4 weeks prior to your last working day.

Employees eligible for a parental leave include mothers, fathers and adoptive parents with at least 17 weeks of service.
