La Carlota City has been honored with the prestigious Best in Report Submission Award by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Negros Occidental Field Office. This recognition was presented during the Capability Enhancement Seminar and Year-End Assessment/Assembly of the Negros Occidental Council of Human Resource Management Practitioners - Local Government Units (NOCHRMO-LGUs). The event was held on December 12-13, 2024.
It is indeed the pride of the City Government of La Carlota City especially the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO). This award is a testament to the hard work and professionalism of our HR team which inspires us to continue striving for excellence in delivering efficient and transparent services to our dedicated public servants as well as fellow Mangkasanons.
The seminar and assembly, attended by representatives from various LGUs across Negros Occidental, provided a platform for capacity-building and shared learning. It also served as an opportunity to acknowledge LGUs demonstrating outstanding performance in key administrative functions.
La Carlota City's recognition underscores its role as a model for other LGUs in fostering good governance and effective human resource management practices.

Several city government employees tasked to facilitate leave management gathered for theย โ๐น๐๐๐๐, ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐น๐๐๐: ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ seminar, held on October 29-30, 2024, at Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo City. A two-day event offered comprehensive insights for effective leave policies and procedures. Subject Matter experts - HR Specialist II Marydel May B. Delgado-Jimeno and HR Specialist II Elaine L. Segura were the first day resource persons who thoroughly discussed the fundamentals of leave policies, types of leave, and the intricacies of application, processing, and approval.
On the second day, participants delved deeper into essential topics facilitated by CSC RO VI Chief HR Specialist Kristine E. Sablaon. The discussions covered government working hours, leave credit computations, and interactive workshops that allowed attendees to go about actual case studies. The session provided hands-on learning experiences - enabling participants to fine-tune their skills for accurate leave management and uphold efficient processing standards within the agency.
