Take the next step in your professional journey
Dear community,
Greetings.
On behalf of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals- Educational Services Department, I would like to congratulate you on being part of a successful venture that is contributing to the Saudi economy and to its Vision-2030.
One of the most important pillars of your organization is the Human Capital. In order to get maximum productivity from the employees to enhance organizational output and to achieve your organizational goals, it is imperative to get your employees trained on the 21st Century HR practices. Training the trainers, is the only way to achieve HRM excellence in your organization.
Every manager utilizes various type of resources, such as financial resource, human resource and physical resources along with the information resource. Human Resources is the most important resource out of all the resources in a company. If one is not good at managing human resources, he cannot be a successful manager in any department.
There is a misconception that HRM should only be learnt by people who are in HR or who wish to be part of HR department. The reality is that every department manager in a company whether he is from Marketing, Operations or Finance, is an HR manager by himself. The department manager performs every HR role for his department which an HR manager does for the entire company.
No HR decisions such as on hiring, compensation, conflicts, disciplinary issues, evaluation etc. can be taken by HR department alone without consulting and involving the department manager. Therefore, every person who is a manager or who expects to be a manager in the future must study HRM, to be a successful manager.
In order to win the market place, you need to first win the workplace. One machine can do the work of 50 average employees, but even 100 machines cannot replace an extra ordinary employee. At the end of the day, we bet on our employees not on our strategies and systems.
No matter how smart our systems are, our future lies in the hands of the people we employ. We should create a workplace with an organizational environment, where the employees while coming to offices, will not leave their hearts at home. Out of all our company resources, first we should get the human capital part right.
If you believe in what I have mentioned above, please register in the HR course being offered.
Looking forward hearing from you soon.
